Rules and Regulation:

The Columbia  Premier League is a competitive league sponsored by showmegoals.com and the International Soccer league. Due to the competitive level of the Columbia Premier League; Individuals who participate in this league take full responsibility of any claims, and release and forever discharge Columbia  Premier  League and its associates affiliate for any claims such as loss of any property, damages and any bodily injury. Columbia Premier League and its affiliate will not be held accountable for any field incident or non field incident due to recklessness of any individual or team.

Registration for Columbia - Premier – League:

Only one player or coach/captain need to complete registration form for League games. All players must sign the waiver sheet prior to participating in the Columbia Premier League games; by signing “yes” on the waiver sheet, individual acknowledge the competitive nature of the game.

2. Or Captain/Coach must print and fill out form called “Waiver / Entry form from showmegoals.com registration page. You can mail it in or hand it out to Columbia Premier League affiliate

3. The waiver sheet for team roster must be completely filled and sign by all participant on the team which include

  • Team name, Roster names, Phone number, Birthday and waiver
  • Age group between 16-45
  • Registration Fee $450.00 per team
  • Tournament Fee $150.00 Per team…Mid season; All teams must play in tournament…DIV 1 and Div 2
  • 15 regular season game, 1 tournamnet and 1 playoff game ( 17 total games for 2012)
  • Field & Referees fees is $85.00 per game per team
  • Maximum Roster on a team 11-25
  • Need team jersey color to prevent other teams from having same jersey color
  • Registration must be done before league play
  • Columbia -Premier- League start April 22nd 2011

Estimated Team Expenses:

16 games X 85 = $1360.00

Tournament     = $$150.00 per team

Registration     = $ 450.00

Registered with USASA (United Soccer Adult Asoociation) = $25.00

Total Expenses per team = $1960.00 Not including 2nd round of playoff

17 Man Roster Expenses per Player = $140.00

Other Rules:

  • Any game cancel due to whether or for whatever reason would be re-schedule and could be played on Friday night or early Saturday morning
  • Fight by any players is an automatic ejection from the league for the year (player defending themselves from a punch will not be suspended for the year but will be suspended for 5 games if a punch is thrown while defending themselves)
  • Using foul language of any kind toward the referees would result in a yellow card including ejection of a RED card. No foul language would be tolerated by referees
  • Any fight caused by a team will result on the team being banned fron the league for a year and will pay an additional $200.00 to join the league the following year; all players involve in fight will be terminated and banned indefinetly.
  • Any Player banned from the league due to fighting for a year will pay the league a restatement fee of $150.00 in addition to his team cost.
  • Players can transfer from one team to the next prior to approval by the Columbia-Premier-league presidents 
  • Transfer fee by any player to another team is $50.00 pay to the league and all transfer must be within the first 4 games of the league games.
  • Player who which to transfer to a different team after the 4 games deadline would pay a transfer fee of $100.00 to the league and awaits league approval and wait till week 9 trade deadline.
  • Week 1-4 trade can be made…No trades by any players between week 5-8…Final trade week 9 by any players wishing to play for a diffrent team.
  • DEADLINE FOR FINAL TRADE OR TRANSFER WEEK 9 with a tranfer fee of $100.00 per player.
  • Deadline for all transfer with no exceptions would be after the 9th game into the season
  • Players can not play for multiple teams

    DIVISION 1 and DIVISION 2 PROMOTION FORMAT
    The champions of Division 2 and the top team from Division 2 will be promoted to Division 1 the following season
    The bottom 2 teams from Division 1 will be demoted to Division 2 the following season

Tie Breaker for Columbia Premier league & Points for Games:

  • 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie and 0 point for a loss
  • Head to Head
  • Goals differential
  • Must goal scored
  • Fewest goal allowed by team

Ejections from game/Forfeits:

  • For any team that forfeits a game, the other team would be awarded 3-0 win and would pay for referees.
  • Team must have at least 9 players to participate in a game
  • 2 yellow card in a game would result in a game suspension
  • Any red card is an automatic next game playing suspension…Forfeit game will be reviewed by officials.
  • 5 yellow card accumulated by a player would result in a game suspension
  • Red card would result in an automatic ejection…so (play safe)
  • Using foul language of any kind toward the referees would result in a yellow card including ejection. No foul language would be tolerated by referees (Be Smart)

Referees Game Card:

  • Teams playing
  • Goal scorers
  • Red card (jersey # of player and team) Comment
  • Yellow card (jersey # of player and team) Comment
  • Side line Referees would ask for players card with yellow or red card during game

Game Rule & Substitution:

  • Players must use their players card to come in and out of games during games
  • Any fees not pay by a team would result in a forfeit until all dept/expenses owe to the league is settle and approve by the Columbia Premier league affiliate
  • Player can change team 1 times only (upon approval from the league officials)
  • All team jersey should have a number represented in the back; failure to abide would result in player ejection from game.
  • Referees/field payment prior to game time is a must or team would be penalize with a loss
  • Team have unlimited substitution during game
  • Teams must be on the field at game time; if not, team would be given 10 minutes extra with at least 9 men on the field ready to play  or the team would forfeits the game
  • All substitution goes through the referees ( referees must acknowledge all substitution)

To Become a Champion:

  • Team Work and hard work
  • Dedication by all team member and Endurance
  • Passion for the game and encouragement
  • Physical play but smart play
  • Don’t cost your team a game by missing a game
  • Patient on the attacking end

What to Know

  • Columbia  – Premier - League and its affiliates are the sole owner of pictures and videos during any games during the season.
  • Post game videos and game highlights would be posted on showmegoals.com
  • Pictures of games would be posted also on website
